Nasze podróżowanie: Włochy to nie tylko ślady starożytności / Italy isn't only ancient inprint

Włochy każdemu kojarzą się ze starożytnością. Jest tu jednak wiele śladów kolejnej epoki... średniowiecza. Na szczytach gór zachowały się całe miasteczka z tamtego okresu. Jednym z nich jest Fumone. Trudno znaleźć o nim wzmiankę w polskojęzycznych przewodnikach, a naprawdę warto odwiedzić to miejsce.

Chodząc uliczkami, ma się wrażenie, że tylko cienka nić czwartego wymiaru powstrzymuje to miasteczko przed powrotem do rzeczywistości z X wieku, a zza rogu wyjdzie halabardnik z miejskiej straży lub brukowane uliczki zadudnią chrzęstem zbroi patrolu rycerzy.

Italy everyone associated with antique era. There are many traces of another era... the Middle Ages. On the tops of mountains are preserved entire towns from that period. One of them is Fumone. It is difficult to find mention of him in the Polish-speaking guides, and is really worth to visiting this place.

Walking the streets you get the impression that only a thin thread of the fourth dimension is holding that town before returning to the X century reality and around the corner will come the municipal guard halberdier or cobbled streets rumble of the crunch of armed knights armor.

Najwyżej położony ogród na świecie... na dachu zamku! Powstał w czasie przebudowy około 1600 roku. / Highest garden in the world ... on the roof of the castle! It was build during reconstruction about Anno Domini 1600.

"Drzewo miłości", czyli najstarsze drzewo w ogrodzie zamkowym. Od 400 lat korzenie utrzymują sufit górnych komnat. / "The tree of love" which is the oldest tree in the castle garden. From 400 years the roots hold the upper ceiling of the chambers.

Mieszkańcy miasta widzieli tylko szarość ścian kamienic. Władcy widzieli piękno Lacjum. / Residents of the town saw only gray walls of houses. Lord of the castle saw the beauty of the Lazio.
